The Course

The Innisfail Golf Club was initially formed in 1925.

The golf course, being situated in the heart of Tropical North Queensland, lives up to the town's slogan of "green like you've never seen". The Clubhouse and carpark are situated on the Bruce Highway on the northern end of town beside the Showground/Racecourse complex.

Relatively flat except for holes 1/10 and 9/18 which are gently sloping up to and away from the Clubhouse, the course is an easy walk for all ages. Being so well established, the course provides abundant shade via huge kauri pines in the open sections and rainforest trees or large stands of bamboo in the more challenging holes.

It is a par 70 Men, 71 Ladies course with an Australian Course Rating of 69 Men, and Queensland Ladies Golf Union rating of 70.

The spacious timber "Queenslander" style Clubhouse has a fully licensed bar, poker machines, pool table and covered balcony with outdoor barbecue overlooking the 1/10 tee and 9/18 green. Go to the Group Bookings page for more photos of the Clubhouse

The Club is a member of the Far North Queensland Golf Association.

Membership, with or without annual green fees are available to men, ladies and juniors. Membership fees are extremely affordable.

A complete programme of events is scheduled all year round.
